This Digication site and collaborative, collective portfolio contains work and reflections from WRD104, Spring Quarter 2011, sections 301 & 330.
In addition to submitting their own digital portfolios at the end of the quarter, students were invited to post brief reflections on a couple of our course assignments — a Contextual Analysis and a Primary-Source Remix — and to contribute to an end-of-the-academic-year graffitti wall / course yearbook. All 46 students were given "Publishing" access to the site, where they can add modules, compose text, embed videos, add images, and link to sites.
Because these First Year Writing students were such good sports about the process, it will allow me and future WRD students to imagine even more interactive and collective teaching and learning activities using Digication.
