Hello everyone! My name is Lukas Nicola. I am currently a freshman enrolled in DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM). I am currently pursuing a degree in Videogame Development with a specialization in Gameplay Programming. I have been an avid gamer since I was 12, with my first console being the Playstation 2. I have always taken an interest in news related to video games, but the accusations thrown at video games as a result of the Sandy Hooks Elementary shooting really drew my attention. Naturally being biased that my favorite hobby was innocent, I wanted to find out the truth about the matter, and so my research topic was born.
