BIOGRAPHY


By the age of 24, Tara Giuliano was appointed into a Director level role at Nationwide Insurance. By 26, she worked as the Head of Americas Marketing & Communication for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. Currently at 32, Tara Giuliano works as President at Chicago American Marketing Association and is Director, Marketing at Morningstar.

As President of Chicago AMA, Tara serves in a CEO capacity managing the Board of Officers & Directors, setting the vision for the 1,000+ members and delivering an unparalleled experience to 7,000 marketers in Chicagoland. Tara has spent years mentoring and sharing career tips with dozens of marketers and young women due to her success at such a young age, and in 2008 published her advice in a self-help book. Since 2010, Tara has provided pro-bono marketing and communications consulting for Chicago nonprofits and start-ups in her “spare” time. Current projects include start-ups Kinzie Real Estate Group and Pressed Garments, and nonprofit Access Living. Through her work at Access Living, she has become an advocate for the disabilities community and is combining this with her passion in marketing through a research project with DePaul University on marketing to Americans with disabilities.

Tara Giuliano has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and is completing her Master’s degree in Communications from DePaul University. She also serves as a programming committee member for the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago where she helps to bring the best and brightest women leaders to speak to the club. Tara is married and has a one year old daughter. She lives in Lincoln Park with her family.
