There are four proficiency exams SNL students can complete to meet competence requirements. The L4, S5, and L6 are portfolio-based, and the L5 exam is sent out monthly to applicants. Students are charged a non-refundable $150 exam assessment fee upon submission. Students must have completed LL 250 Foundations before they take a proficiency exam. Students must take a proficiency exam at least two quarters before the quarter in which they plan to graduate.
