           This was the second to last assignment that was given to us, and just like our final assignment, the reflection paper, this assignment was designed to encourage a personal reflection on an event in each student's literacy history and help each individual gain insight into their own formation as a literate individual. Each student considered their background, and thought about specific successes and failures that they could recall that represented instances of intellectual growth or lack thereof. With the reflection of each student’s background, they were able to find common ground with each other to their processes of becoming literate.
