My choice for an image to analyze and to discuss is from Matthew Desmond's The Eviction Economy, Sunday Review, page 3. It's kind of a grim photo -- the opposite of what we usually see in the Styles section. 

Why I want to discuss it -- the photo seems to be documentary in that it helps to illustrate the essay, but it also seems kind of persuasive, rhetorically speaking.
