Where do you locate yourself -- ideologically and politically -- in the NYT?

So far my “experience” with the New York Times has been good and overall I enjoy reading the paper. I enjoy being up-to- date on important events that are taking place. One part of the paper I always seem to be skipping over is anything having to do with politics. In all honesty I should care about politics considering there is an upcoming election and for the first time in my life I can actually vote. The more I thought about it I realized I have never had to care because it wasn’t until a year ago that my voice could be politically heard. Politics are and have always been an annoyance to me. My parents and teachers would always make a big fuss about who they were voting for and how they “couldn’t” share their political views with us. Okay, then why would they bring it up in the first place? All I would and still hear is people getting so offensive when you tell them your political opinion, and I always go back to saying the same thing, “it’s MY opinion, not yours”. So in this case, I would locate myself as non-existing politically in the New York Times.

Ironically as, I finish writing this, I just found myself reading a Mitt-Romney article in the Sunday May 20th paper. Even though it was not the most interesting article I have ever read, I read the entre article. Maybe this is a sign that I am slowly growing up and starting to care about events in the world. Who knows maybe one day I will be one day I will be running for president of the United States. Well, maybe.
