I am going to write about Tyler Clementi’s life, how it ended and how the New York Times is covering it in a way where they show him as a victim.

Tyler Clementi was a freshman at Rutgers University. He loved to play the violin and was described as being a quiet student. His college life was literally just beginning and it is a shame that it had to finish so soon and especially under his circumstances.

On September 22nd, Tyler Clementi jumped off the George Washington bridge and committed suicide. Why? Live images were transmitted onto the internet showing Tyler Clementi kissing another male. Tyler’s roommate, Dharun Ravi, was apparently the one to stream the video online.  Tyler Clementi wrote about his feelings and what was going on, in an internet site. When his roommate tried to do it again Tyler had enough and looked for a RA for help. Apparently nothing was done since it led him to commit suicide.
