you CAN do it

Riding a bike can be hard, and so can writing.  A big paper can look a bit like that two-wheeled scab-making machine your Dad rolled out for you on your fourth birthday.  You've seen all the other kids do it with such ease, but now—all of a sudden— it seems

pretty daunting.  You think you might fail, and that it will hurt—it probably will, and it DEFINTELY will.  But when you come out on the

other end of your journey, when your odyssey into the two-wheeled abyss ends, the feeling you have will be amazing!

Writing is very much the same.  Thesis statements, research, analysis. Pathos, comma splices and Oxford Commas.  If your are scared, uncertain, or just do not know where to begin  swing by the UCWbL; one of us Peer Writing Tutors will help you—just like your Dad did...Is that weird? Then you can go from being the guy in the top picture to being the guy in the bottom picture.

Non-Writing-Related Pro Tip***

If you're going to fall while riding a bike, don't put your arm out like the guy in the top picture...that's how you break a collar-bone.
