Welcome to the First Year Writing Digital Portfolio site

 

All First Year Writing at DePaul students compose digital portfolios using Digication to present, to showcase, and to reflect on your WRD coursework and learning outcomes. 

 

A cornerstone of our pedagogy, the student digital portfolio provides the opportunity for students to demonstrate the degree to which they have achieved both the program’s learning outcomes and their own writing goals. Writing portfolios necessitate that students keep track of their work (collection), take responsibility for selecting pieces of their writing that represent their achievements (selection), and reflect on their own work in the course (reflection).  

 

This site has information and resources for both students and faculty. Please send any suggestions or additions to Michael.
