The Spring 2013 WRD 361 Class
In these pages you will encounter a group of rhetors who have been studied by students at DePaul University. We focused on women rhetors in Chicago. We chose to unpack and shape their memory so that we could decide how we as the next generation of Chicago rhetors and rhetoricians will memorialize women who speak.
We each designed a memorial for a woman or organization focusing on how we thought other people should commit this person to memory. Memorials fall into one of the following categories: Visual Artists, Performing Artists, Professionals, Advocates and Community Organizations.
We created this site to contribute to women's history in the rhetorical tradition.
Details on how our class worked can be found here.
