Hello my name is Cheryl Kent and I am passionate about helping children live up to their full potential. This portfolio will focus on my journey toward a degree and career in social work. I am dedicated to the field of school social work and the idea that all children have worth and value.
In a world were poverty seems to be commonplace I believe that education and early intervention is the key to upward social mobility. My life-long goal is to make sure that all children are given every opportunity to learn and grow into successful and socially conscious adults. For this to occur we must make a commitment and solid investment to foster and assist the children who are in need.
