About Me...

Welcome to the About Me section of my ePortfolio! This portfolio as built to particularly feature my final project work for my MA in Educating Adults (MAEA) program in the School for New Learning at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

Appreciation in the workplace was not only a project topic for me as a scholar-practitioner it became a passion which continues to this day.

My background as a learning professional is as a trainer, coach, and manager in retail and talent acquisition. This background has taught me to coach people to a higher level of performance.  I also have experience in teaching English as a Second Language to adults and children. 

Actually, the work I did with factory workers in Poland who desired to learn English is what drove me to choose the MAEA program at DePaul.  This group of learners was the most dedicated, hard-working group of people because they were life-long learners.  They had personal goals they wanted to work towards making it exciting and FUN to teach them each week.
