What does it feel like when someone you love doesn’t love you back

When everything he does is just an act

When his whole world revolves on how it used to be

When not even the truth seems to set him free

When everything that you wanted to feel

Leaves you even, at once, when his wounds heal

What does it mean when you love someone other

Than you thought you would and new feelings are uncovered

When everything that you see in his eyes

Is just as beautiful as his words are wise

What is possible when you start to lose the sadness you once had

And even the worst nightmare isn’t really that bad

When everything you leave when you close your eyes

Is like heaven on earth and angels above you fly

And every day gets a little better when you wake

And even the least genuine person isn’t really that fake

And every moment that passes seems better than the last

And every time you blink the time passes less fast

What should I think when I have come to the conclusion

That everything I had had never been a delusion

That everything I feel when I’m with him

Becomes a light that is left that only another could make dim

And I think that everything I have hoped for had come up to this moment

And could never be taken even by the worst component

And this is why I wake up every day

Hoping to experience love as intensely as I pray
