A networking and community-building conference event for peer undergraduate and graduate student tutors, mentors, advisors and counselors, and their directors and supervisors, faculty, and professional staff, from all DePaul academic, professional, disciplined-based, cross-curricular, and student affairs offices, departments, and programs

Our SPEAKERS

from: New Student and Family Engagement 

 

 

Toni Fitzpatrick is the Associate Director of New Student & Family Engagement (NSFE).  She works closely with the Chicago Quarter program, including the Chicago Quarter Mentors, Staff Professionals, and the Common Hour curriculum.  Toni also works with Welcome Week programming and Parent and Family Programs.  Prior to DePaul, Toni worked at Columbia College Chicago in New Student Programs and at Saint Xavier University in Residential Life.  Toni is a first generation college student and, through her own experience in college, developed a strong interest in exploring factors that influence student success. . . . AND   

 

Ziena Miller is the Assistant Director in the Office of New Student and Family Engagement, where she works with Welcome Week, Parent and Family Programs, and support of the Chicago Quarter program. During her six years at DePaul, Ziena has also worked in the Department of Residential Education, where she worked to support students in the residence halls. Ziena finds energy in her work through building campus community and culture, and views the work of peer mentors as critical to those connections.
