Hello, and welcome to my UCWbL portfolio.

While the portfolio itself provides all kinds of information regarding who I am and what I value, here's a brief overview of aspects of me.

I received my MA in English from DePaul and my BA in Literature and Communications from Purdue. In addition to peer tutoring, I currently work as a WRD First Year Writing instructor at DePaul. My classes focus on the power of language and the rhetoric that is currently shaping our world. When I'm not writing lesson plans or giving feedback on others' writing, I write comparative criticism about the literature of crisis and catastrophe and fiction that merges ancient Greek and Hebrew mythology. When I'm not writing, I'm probably biking, playing Boogle, or reading stories about the post-apocalypse. I look forward this year to conversing with writers about their developing writing and their developing skills as communicators.
