A Little About Me... 

   I'm Ashley, a first-year student at DePaul University.  Though I'm originally from Ohio (with a brief stint in Florida, but that's another story,) I feel like I'm at home here in Chicago.  I'm only missing my family. And my friends. And my puppy. And my bed. Regardless of what I've left behind, I know that getting out of my comfort zone is necessary in life. What better place to do it than one of the most beautiful cities in the world? 
       I like almost everything (but really.) I get overly excited by the little things in life, especially if those little things are cute and fluffy like bunnies or if they are tasty and edible like some unbeatable La Vaquera mexican food (represent Ohio.) I'm always down for some old school Dashboard Confessional (circa "Swiss Army Romance" and/or "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar" preferably.) I'm not a big fan of mediocrity... it's either the highs or the lows for me.
        I've been blessed by God with so much more than I need. I could not ask for a better family or for better friends or for more love in my life. I'll wrap up this paragraph with one of my favorite quotes, one that I believe in fully: "So much of what is best in us is bound up in our love of family, that it remains the measure of our stability because it measures our sense of loyalty. Now that you've gotten to know me to some extent (however well one can understand someone via the internet,) I will leave you with my E-Portfolio. I plan on using this website to track my progress as a writer for the remainder of the quarter. Enjoy:)
